The drive from Sparwood to Banff is a 250-kilometer journey through the heart of the Rocky Mountains. You will travel north on Highway 3 to Elko, then take Highway 93/95 through the Columbia Valley, and finally Highway 93 North into Banff National Park. The trip takes approximately 3 hours. This route offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Canada, including views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges.

You will need a Parks Canada pass to enter Banff National Park.
June to September for clear roads and access to mountain hiking trails.
