The drive from Fernie to Golden covers 300 kilometers through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You will travel north on Highway 3 and then Highway 93 through Kootenay National Park. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours, offering some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Canada. Golden is a hub for outdoor adventure, located at the confluence of the Columbia and Kicking Horse Rivers. Be prepared for mountain driving conditions throughout the year.
