Fernie is a world-famous ski town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, about 800 km from Surrey. The route follows the Trans-Canada Highway to Hope, then Highway 3 East through the mountains. You will pass through Manning Park, the Similkameen Valley, and the Kootenay Pass. This drive offers a mix of mountain vistas and river valleys, making it a classic BC road trip.
