The drive from Tappen to Williams Lake covers approximately 400 kilometers and takes about 4.5 to 5 hours. You will head west on Highway 1 toward Kamloops, then transition to Highway 97 North, known as the Cariboo Highway. This route takes you through the heart of the BC interior, passing through ranching country and rolling hills. Williams Lake is the central hub of the Cariboo and is famous for its annual Stampede.
