Prince Rupert is a coastal city located at the end of Highway 16, about 1,500 km from Surrey. You can drive the entire way through the interior or take the VIA Rail 'Skeena' train from Jasper (which requires a separate connection from Surrey). The drive takes you through the stunning Skeena River valley, ending at the Pacific Ocean. This is one of the most scenic routes in Canada, offering views of mountains, rivers, and coastal rainforests.
