Traveling from Chamcook to Charlottetown involves a 420-kilometer drive through New Brunswick and across the Confederation Bridge. You will take Highway 1 to Highway 2, heading toward the bridge at Borden-Carleton. The crossing itself is a 12.9-kilometer engineering marvel. Once on the island, Route 1 leads you directly into the provincial capital. The entire journey takes about 4.5 hours of driving time.
