The drive from Castlegar to Whitehorse covers 2200 km and takes approximately 25 hours. You will travel north on Highway 97 and then join the Alaska Highway. This is a major expedition through the heart of Northern BC and into the Yukon. It is a long, remote drive, so plan for multiple overnight stops and ensure your vehicle is in excellent condition.
